Hello – my name is Mark Eley and I live near Solihull in England.

I established Golf Bible on 1st May 2013 to provide a single reference point for Great British and Irish amateur golf. I firstly set up a twitter account (@GolfBible) to promptly communicate competition news and results. Nowadays you will find lots of other information on there too.

Later in 2013 I opened a GolfBible Pinterest account. I have collected thousands of photos covering all aspects of the game. Please take a look – I am sure you will find something of interest. Some of the more recent additions are shown below (slide photos upwards to view more).

In October 2014 I set up this website and blog so that I could provide more detailed information on upcoming events and occasionally profiles of famous amateur golfers.

In December 2015 I established a separate Golf Bible Walker Cup website. I did this for two reasons; 1) I wanted to collate as much information on this match in one place as I could (an ongoing process) and 2) I wanted to record the journey to each future match in detail, starting with Los Angeles in 2017.

Since April 2017 I have also been one of the international panelists for the Southern Golf Association’s Amateur of the Month Award.

I am always happy to correspond and hear any feedback you may have on my Golf Bible work. The easiest way to get in touch with me is via E-mail or Twitter Direct Message.
