Notes

*Justin Rose (1995) and Harley Smith (2021) are the only two players to win the U16 McGregor Trophy and U18 Carris Trophy in the same year.

~Graeme Storm is the only other player to win both the McGregor Trophy (1994) and U18 Carris Trophy (1996).

The event was founded by Roy Case at Radcliffe-on-Trent G.C. and first played for in 1982. The trophy was donated by Radcliffe’s past captains Matt and Kathy McGregor.

It was adopted by the English Golf Union in 1993 when they were looking to establish their own U16 Open Stroke Play Championship.

1999 saw other courses start to be used but the Championship still returns to Radcliffe-on-Trent every five years.
